Requirement

The safety of hotel guests and visitors was paramount for the Burj Al Arab, especially in areas such as the bedroom suites and lobby areas. The hotel security team wanted a suitable solution that would not change the look of the existing glazing but would enhance security in the event of accidental breakage, weather damage or bomb blast attack.

Solution

We treated a large majority of the hotel’s glazing with our high security clear 8mil security film and our Pentagon Flexible Anchoring profile, upgrading the existing glazing to withstand high impact damage. 

We worked on a strict schedule in order to coordinate with hotel staff when completing installation in guest suites and common areas. The quality of our installation was as you would expect in such a demanding building, flawless.
