One of the tallest buildings in Tecom, Al Shafar Tower is a 25 floor building offering its occupants stunning 360 degree views of the city.
Staff and guests were uncomfortable due to high solar heat gain and annoying sun glare which would disrupt productivity. Although the office space had window blinds, these cut out the light making the office space feel dark. Energy costs were also a consideration for this client.
We installed the open office floor with our dual reflective window film to reduce the heat gain, minimise the glare and improve overall comfort levels for the staff. The benefit of window film over blinds is clear in this situation where our product allows plenty of natural light into the space without the negative heat build up.
